Advertiser Terms
Last updated: June 4, 2026 · These terms govern buying the sponsored ad slot at ads.theunemployable.xyz.
UNEMPLOYABLE™ and this Site are operated by Ricotta Bear LLC ("we," "us"), a consulting business of which this project is a part. By submitting an ad and paying for the slot, you ("Advertiser") agree to these Terms — a contract between you and Ricotta Bear LLC — and to the Advertising Policy, which is part of these Terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorized to do so.
1. What you're buying
You're buying display of one ad in the sponsored slot until you are outbid ("king of the hill"). There is no minimum or guaranteed duration — someone may outbid you in seconds, or never. The price to take the slot is the current price plus the posted minimum increment; you may bid more to raise the bar for the next challenger. There is no upper limit.
2. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe on behalf of Ricotta Bear LLC — your card statement may show RICOTTA BEAR LLC. We never see or store your card details. The amount shown at checkout is what you pay. Applicable sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout. You authorize the charge when you complete payment.
3. Non-refundable
All sales are final. Being outbid, choosing to stop, or simply having a short reign does not entitle you to a refund. The only exception: if your payment succeeds but the slot has already moved out of reach so your ad never displays, we automatically refund that payment.
4. Your content & the license you grant
You are solely responsible for your ad — its brand name, copy, image, and destination link. You represent that you own or have the rights to everything you submit, that it's accurate, and that it complies with the Advertising Policy and all applicable laws. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, resize, and reproduce your ad on the Site (including the live slot and the permanent Advertiser Graveyard archive) for as long as we operate the Site.
5. Review, rejection & removal
Ads are screened automatically and may be reviewed by hand. We may reject, hold, request changes to, or remove any ad at our discretion. Ads flagged before payment are held and not charged. Removal for a policy violation is final and non-refundable, and the ad may be archived in the Graveyard marked as removed. Serious violations may be reported to authorities and result in a permanent ban.
6. The Graveyard
When you're dethroned or removed, your ad is permanently archived in the public Advertiser Graveyard with your brand, creative, amount paid, and reign length. By advertising, you consent to this permanent archival.
7. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback results in immediate removal of your ad and a ban from future bidding. Because purchases are non-refundable as described above, chargebacks are considered a breach of these Terms.
8. No guarantees
The Site is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uptime, traffic, clicks, conversions, or results of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the slot is limited to the amount you paid for the ad in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes apply to future purchases. Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept them.
